Optional external sample

Supplement SierraTec Audience when the study needs more reach

External sample providers are an optional secondary source—not the core SierraTec participant model. SierraTec can use approved providers for hard-to-fill professional, geographic, healthcare, language, or high-volume quotas when first-party and customer-owned audiences are insufficient.

Provider-neutral by design

No implied partnerships

The public site does not display provider logos or claim integrations until a commercial/API relationship has been approved and configured.

Provider qualification

Review coverage, sourcing practices, participant treatment, quality controls, privacy terms, APIs, security, pricing, and operational support before activation.

Source-level transparency

Retain provider/source IDs, incidence, quota, termination, quality, cost, and reconciliation metadata for methodology and vendor management.

Automatic or manual routing

Enterprise workspaces may allow SierraTec to select an approved supplier or let authorized researchers choose from configured providers.

Routing policy

SierraTec-owned supply stays first in the default routing order

v10 provider economics

Provider cost + transparent SierraTec orchestration

The default v10 model separates the external provider's sample cost from SierraTec's orchestration fee. The prototype default is 10% of provider sample cost, configurable by approved commercial rules.

Provider pass-through

Store quoted CPI, incidence assumptions, minimums, taxes, and provider-specific adjustments.

Orchestration fee

Cover feasibility routing, quota control, quality review, reconciliation, consolidated billing, and support.

Accepted-complete settlement

Track quality exclusions and replacement/credit requests before final provider settlement where contracts permit.
