This Return and Refund Policy (βPolicyβ) explains how refunds, cancellations, exchanges, credits, and returns are handled for products and services offered by SierraTec Secure LLC (βSierraTec Secure,β βCompany,β βwe,β βus,β or βourβ) through www.sierratecsecure.com, any related learning platform, course marketplace, subscription service, instructor portal, provider portal, exam voucher service, digital product service, live meeting service, cybersecurity service, or professional service. By purchasing, enrolling in, subscribing to, downloading, accessing, booking, or using any SierraTec Secure product or service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Company Information
SierraTec Secure LLC
3602 Feyette CT
Woodbridge, VA 22193
2. Currency
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, all prices, fees, refunds, credits, chargebacks, payouts, and other amounts under this Policy are stated and processed in U.S. Dollars (USD).
Currency conversion fees, international payment fees, card issuer fees, bank fees, PayPal fees, Stripe fees, or other third-party fees are not controlled by SierraTec Secure and may not be refundable.
3. General Refund Principles
Refund eligibility depends on the type of product or service purchased, the timing of the request, whether the product or service has been accessed or delivered, vendor rules, payment processor rules, and applicable law.
SierraTec Secure may approve, deny, partially approve, or condition a refund request based on:
- The product or service purchased.
- Whether the product was accessed, downloaded, used, redeemed, issued, delivered, or completed.
- The date and time of purchase.
- The date and time of the refund request.
- Vendor, testing-provider, or certification-body restrictions.
- Whether the customer violated the Terms of Service.
- Whether the transaction appears fraudulent, abusive, duplicated, or unauthorized.
- Whether a chargeback or payment dispute has been filed.
- Whether the product or service was provided by an Instructor, Provider, third party, or vendor.
- Applicable law.
We reserve the right to refuse refunds for misuse, fraud, account sharing, unauthorized resale, violation of cybersecurity rules, exam voucher misuse, chargeback abuse, or violation of our Terms of Service.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact SierraTec Secure at:
Your refund request should include:
- Full name.
- Account email address.
- Order number or invoice number, if available.
- Product or service purchased.
- Date of purchase.
- Amount paid.
- Reason for the refund request.
- Any supporting details or documentation.
We may request additional information to verify your identity, payment, purchase, account activity, service usage, or refund eligibility.
5. Refund Review Timeline
We will make reasonable efforts to review refund requests within 7 business days after receiving the request and any required supporting information.
Approval of a refund does not mean the funds will appear immediately in your account. After we process an approved refund, the timing of the credit depends on your bank, card issuer, PayPal, Stripe, or other payment processor.
Refunds may take several business days or longer to appear, depending on the payment method and financial institution.
6. Method of Refund
Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
If the original payment method is unavailable, expired, closed, restricted, or otherwise unable to receive a refund, SierraTec Secure may, at its discretion, issue a store credit or use another reasonable refund method.
SierraTec Secure is not responsible for refund delays, failed refund transfers, processor holds, bank delays, card issuer delays, PayPal restrictions, Stripe restrictions, incorrect customer information, or third-party processing issues.
7. Courses and Recorded Training
For self-paced courses, recorded training, certification-preparation programs, and similar learning products, refund eligibility is generally limited to requests submitted within 7 calendar days after purchase, provided that the course has not been substantially accessed, completed, downloaded, copied, misused, or abused.
SierraTec Secure may deny a course refund if:
- The course has been substantially accessed or completed.
- Course materials have been downloaded.
- A certificate has been issued.
- The user shared account access.
- The user violated course rules or platform rules.
- The refund request appears abusive or repetitive.
- The course was purchased as part of a non-refundable promotion, bundle, subscription, or enterprise agreement.
- The purchase is subject to a separate written agreement.
Refunds for courses do not guarantee refunds for related exam vouchers, digital products, subscriptions, live meetings, or third-party products.
8. Bootcamps and Instructor-Led Training
Bootcamps, cohort-based programs, instructor-led courses, and scheduled training programs may require advance planning, instructor scheduling, limited seats, and administrative preparation.
Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise:
- Refund requests made 14 or more calendar days before the scheduled start date may be eligible for a full or partial refund.
- Refund requests made less than 14 calendar days before the scheduled start date may be eligible for a partial refund or store credit at SierraTec Secureβs discretion.
- Refund requests made after the program begins may be denied.
- No refund is guaranteed after substantial attendance, participation, access to materials, or completion.
SierraTec Secure may offer a transfer to a future cohort instead of a refund, subject to availability.
If SierraTec Secure cancels a bootcamp or instructor-led program, we may offer a refund, rescheduling option, transfer, or credit.
9. Subscriptions
Subscriptions provide access to selected content, services, or platform features during the active subscription period.
Unless stated otherwise at checkout or required by law:
- Subscription fees are non-refundable after the billing period begins.
- Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically create a refund for past charges.
- You remain responsible for charges incurred before cancellation.
- Partial-month refunds are not guaranteed.
- Content and features included in a subscription may change over time.
- Subscription access may end immediately or at the end of the billing period, depending on the subscription terms.
SierraTec Secure may issue a refund, credit, or adjustment for duplicate charges, billing errors, unauthorized charges, or other special circumstances at our discretion or as required by law.
10. Free Trials and Promotional Access
Free trials, promotional access, scholarships, coupons, discounts, and limited-time offers may be subject to separate terms.
Unless otherwise stated:
- Free trial access does not create a right to a refund.
- Promotional pricing applies only during the promotional period.
- Coupons and discounts cannot be retroactively applied to completed purchases.
- Promotional access may be modified, suspended, or discontinued.
- If a free trial converts into a paid subscription, the applicable subscription terms apply.
You are responsible for canceling a trial or subscription before a charge occurs if you do not wish to continue.
11. Digital Products, eBooks, and Downloadable Materials
Digital products include eBooks, study guides, templates, workbooks, checklists, reports, technical guides, downloadable files, reference documents, and similar digital materials.
Due to the nature of digital products, digital product purchases are generally non-refundable once the product has been accessed, downloaded, delivered, opened, copied, or made available to the customer.
SierraTec Secure may deny a refund for digital products if:
- The file has been downloaded or accessed.
- The product has been delivered by email, dashboard, download link, or account access.
- The customer purchased the wrong product.
- The customer no longer wants the product.
- The customer failed to review the product description before purchase.
- The product was part of a bundle, promotion, subscription, or special offer.
- The product was copied, shared, transferred, or misused.
If a digital product is defective, inaccessible, corrupted, or not delivered as promised, SierraTec Secure may provide a replacement file, corrected access, store credit, or refund at our discretion.
12. Exam Vouchers
Exam vouchers, exam credits, testing codes, authorization codes, and similar exam-purchase instruments are vendor-specific and may be issued, controlled, restricted, administered, or fulfilled by third-party certification vendors, testing providers, exam sponsors, or authorized distributors.
Unless expressly stated at checkout or required by law, exam voucher purchases are generally non-refundable, non-returnable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable once issued, delivered, redeemed, assigned, or processed.
SierraTec Secure may deny refunds, exchanges, or cancellations for exam vouchers if:
- The voucher has been issued.
- The voucher has been delivered.
- The voucher has been redeemed.
- The voucher has expired.
- The voucher was purchased for the wrong vendor or exam.
- The customer is ineligible for the exam.
- The customer missed the exam appointment.
- The customer failed the exam.
- The customer violated vendor or testing-provider rules.
- The vendor, distributor, certification body, or testing provider refuses a refund or exchange.
- The customer provided incorrect candidate information.
- The customer failed to review vendor-specific rules before purchase.
Exam voucher pricing, availability, expiration, refund eligibility, delivery timelines, and redemption rules may vary by vendor, exam, region, testing provider, and promotion.
If a vendor cancels, modifies, retires, replaces, or discontinues an exam, SierraTec Secure will follow the vendorβs applicable voucher policy.
13. Live Meetings, Webinars, Coaching, and Workshops
Live meetings include coaching sessions, tutoring, mentoring, webinars, workshops, office hours, bootcamp sessions, consulting meetings, and similar scheduled sessions.
Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise:
- Refund or rescheduling requests made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session may be eligible for rescheduling, credit, or refund.
- Refund or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session may be denied.
- No-shows are generally non-refundable.
- Late arrival may reduce the available session time and does not guarantee a refund.
- If the Instructor, Provider, or SierraTec Secure cancels the session, we may offer rescheduling, credit, or refund.
- If a session is interrupted by technical issues caused by the customerβs device, internet connection, software, or environment, a refund is not guaranteed.
- If a session is materially incomplete due to SierraTec Secure, Instructor, or Provider error, we may offer rescheduling, credit, partial refund, or full refund.
Live meetings do not guarantee exam success, assignment completion, job placement, business results, certification approval, security outcomes, or any specific result.
14. Cybersecurity Services and Professional Services
Cybersecurity services and professional services may include vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, incident response, cyber assessments, risk assessments, compliance-readiness assessments, security consulting, remediation guidance, and related services.
These services may require scoping, scheduling, preparation, staffing, tools, contract review, authorization review, and professional labor.
Unless a separate statement of work, invoice, proposal, or written agreement states otherwise:
- Deposits, retainers, setup fees, emergency response fees, and kickoff fees may be non-refundable.
- Completed services are non-refundable.
- Partially completed services may be eligible for partial refund or credit only at SierraTec Secureβs discretion.
- Milestone-based services are refundable only for incomplete, unapproved, or undelivered milestones, unless otherwise stated in writing.
- Customer delays, lack of access, missing authorization, inaccurate scope information, unavailable systems, or failure to provide required cooperation may reduce or eliminate refund eligibility.
- If the customer cancels after work has begun, SierraTec Secure may retain amounts for work performed, time reserved, tools used, third-party expenses, administrative costs, and non-cancelable commitments.
- If SierraTec Secure determines that an engagement cannot be legally or safely performed, we may cancel the engagement and issue a refund, partial refund, or credit based on work already performed and costs already incurred.
Cybersecurity services do not guarantee that all vulnerabilities will be found, all incidents will be resolved, all risks will be eliminated, or any compliance outcome will be achieved.
15. Enterprise, Government, Corporate, and Custom Services
Enterprise training, government engagements, corporate training, reseller arrangements, custom services, private group training, and custom cybersecurity services may be governed by a separate quote, invoice, proposal, statement of work, order form, master services agreement, rules of engagement, or written contract.
If a separate written agreement includes refund, cancellation, milestone, or payment terms, that agreement will control for that specific engagement.
Unless a written agreement states otherwise, amounts paid for custom services may be non-refundable after scheduling, preparation, staffing, access, delivery, or performance begins.
16. Bundles, Promotions, Coupons, and Discounts
Bundles, discounted products, promotional offers, coupons, special pricing, scholarships, and limited-time offers may be subject to special refund rules.
Unless stated otherwise:
- Discounts cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Coupons cannot be retroactively applied.
- Promotional purchases may be final sale.
- Bundle refunds may be prorated.
- If part of a bundle has been accessed, downloaded, redeemed, or used, the entire bundle may become non-refundable.
- Store credits may be issued instead of refunds for promotional purchases.
SierraTec Secure may modify or end promotions at any time.
17. Duplicate Purchases and Billing Errors
SierraTec Secure may issue a refund, credit, correction, or adjustment for verified duplicate charges, billing errors, or payment-processing errors.
We may request documentation to verify the issue.
18. Unauthorized Transactions
We may review account activity, payment records, login history, IP information, platform activity, and other relevant information to evaluate the claim.
SierraTec Secure may deny a refund if the transaction appears authorized, if account credentials were shared, if the customer failed to secure the account, or if the claim appears fraudulent or abusive.
You should also contact your bank, card issuer, PayPal, Stripe, or payment provider if you believe your payment method was used without authorization.
19. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you file a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank, card issuer, PayPal, Stripe, or payment provider, SierraTec Secure may suspend access to the related account, product, service, course, subscription, exam voucher, live meeting, cybersecurity service, or professional service while the dispute is pending.
Chargebacks may result in:
- Account suspension.
- Service suspension.
- Cancellation of pending orders.
- Revocation of access.
- Delay or cancellation of refunds.
- Recovery of chargeback fees.
- Termination of account access.
- Refusal of future transactions.
We encourage customers to contact SierraTec Secure first so we can attempt to resolve billing or refund issues.

If applicable law requires a refund or cancellation right, SierraTec Secure will comply with that law.
Some products or services may be subject to different rules depending on location, vendor terms, payment processor rules, or the nature of the transaction.
23. Order Fulfillment and Delivery Delays
SierraTec Secure will make reasonable efforts to deliver products, access, digital materials, exam vouchers, and services within the timeframe stated at checkout, in a written agreement, or in customer communications.
