This course provides an in-depth understanding of the security concepts, principles, technologies, and management practices covered by the CISSP Common Body of Knowledge.
Participants will examine cybersecurity from both technical and strategic perspectives, developing the ability to assess risks, protect information assets, design secure architectures, manage access, evaluate controls, operate security programs, and incorporate security throughout the software development lifecycle.

To earn the CISSP certification, candidates generally need at least five years of cumulative professional work experience in two or more of the eight CISSP domains. Certain qualifying education or credentials may satisfy up to one year of the experience requirement.
Candidates who pass the examination but do not yet meet the experience requirement may pursue Associate of ISC2 status while gaining the required professional experience.

Learn how to design, perform, and analyze security assessments, audits, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing activities, and control effectiveness reviews.
Develop knowledge of operational security, incident management, investigations, logging and monitoring, disaster recovery, business continuity, change management, vulnerability management, and security operations.
Understand how security principles and controls should be incorporated throughout the software development lifecycle, including secure development environments, application security testing, secure coding, and software risk management.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:
The CISSP examination currently uses Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT). The examination lasts up to three hours and contains 100β150 items, including multiple-choice and advanced item types. The passing standard is 700 out of 1,000 points.

The standard CISSP examination registration fee is currently US$749 in many regions, although pricing, currency, and applicable taxes may vary according to examination location.
After certification, CISSP members currently pay an annual maintenance fee of US$135.
To maintain the CISSP credential, certified professionals must earn 120 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits during each three-year certification cycle, maintain the applicable membership requirements, and continue to meet ISC2 certification obligations.
